This Deluxe cabinet combines the classic gameplay and controls of the original Asteroids with modern technology, enhanced lighting, physical effects, and competitive multiplayer features.

Designed for larger locations and family entertainment centers (FECs), the Deluxe model features three-player simultaneous gameplay, allowing multiple players to compete at the same time. Players navigate through 256 waves of increasingly intense space battles while using classic controls including rotate, fire, thrust, and hyperspace.

The cabinet also features RGB LED T-molding, backlit controls, a high-definition display, 2.1-channel sound, wind effects, rumble motors, and a cabinet knocker for a more immersive arcade experience. Internet connectivity is supported through wired or Wi-Fi connections for online tournament functionality.

Gameplay

Players control a spaceship surrounded by dangerous asteroids. Shooting an asteroid causes it to split into smaller pieces, which become faster and more challenging as they shrink. Destroying asteroids consecutively can generate score bonuses.

The game introduces modern power-ups while maintaining the fundamental mechanics of classic Asteroids. Players can use:

• LEFT / RIGHT ROTATE – Adjust the ship's direction.
• FIRE – Shoot asteroids and enemies.
• THRUST – Propel the ship forward.
• HYPERSPACE – Teleport to a random location to escape danger.
• Power-Ups – Gain temporary gameplay advantages.

Note: Using Hyperspace carries a small chance of causing the player's ship to overload and explode.
